Entry and stay rules
Georgia's consolidated government ordinance allows citizens of listed countries, including the United States and United Kingdom, to enter without a visa and stay for one full year. Other cases have different rules.
How this relates to Schengen days
Georgia is outside the Schengen area. Its one-year rule applies only to nationalities listed in the current ordinance; time there does not remove prior Schengen days from the rolling window.
A stay outside the Schengen area is not itself a reset. The 90/180 calculation remains rolling and prior Schengen days continue to count until they leave the relevant window.

Frequently asked questions
Who can use Georgia's one-year visa-free stay?
The consolidated government ordinance gives one full year to citizens of countries in its annex. Check the current annex for your nationality before booking.
Does the one-year rule cover every passport?
No. Georgia's law distinguishes the listed one-year nationalities from other visa-exempt travellers, who may have a 90-days-in-180-days limit.
Do Georgian days make Schengen days available again immediately?
No. A stay outside Schengen is not counted as Schengen presence, but the prior Schengen days continue to affect the rolling 180-day calculation.
