Privacy Policy

Atlassio treats privacy as a foundational principle. Because we handle travel history and documents, your data remains in your control.

What We Collect

  • Authentication Data: The email address you use to sign up, securely handled by Firebase Authentication.
  • Travel History: The trips and dates you input are stored securely to calculate your Schengen allowance across devices.
  • Usage Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless service, to count page views and high-level product events. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and records nothing that identifies you. Your travel data is never sent to it.
  • Payment Data (only if you buy Pro): Email address, billing country, and Stripe payment identifiers. We never see or store your payment card numbers.

Payments

If you upgrade to Atlassio Pro, the payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. acting as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout and never touch our servers. UK tax law requires sales records to be retained for six years.

The Document Hub & Attached Files

Files attached to your trips (such as boarding passes, passport copies, or booking confirmations) are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage (Firebase Storage) and/or cached locally in your browser's IndexedDB. Access is strictly restricted to your authenticated account through server-enforced security rules. We do not inspect, monetize, or use your uploaded documents.

AI Assistant (Google Gemini)

If you use the optional AI Assistant feature, your messages and relevant travel context (trip dates and country codes) are sent securely to the Google Gemini API (via Google Cloud) to generate personalized travel advice and Schengen rule guidance. Google does not use customer data submitted via the Gemini API to train its models. Processing is ephemeral and handled under Google Cloud enterprise security commitments.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell your personal data or travel history to third parties.
  • We do not track your precise GPS location.
  • We do not share your documents or trip data with advertisers.

Deleting Your Account

You have the right to be forgotten. You can permanently delete your account and all associated trips, documents, local browser cache, and profile data at any time from the Profile tab. Upon deletion, your data is immediately purged from our active databases and cloud storage.

Who We Share Data With

We use a small number of trusted processors: Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, hosting), Google Cloud / Gemini API (optional AI Assistant), Stripe (payments), Plausible (cookieless analytics), and Tally (optional feedback form). We do not share your data with anyone else.
